@Svanelicorne I completely agree. Poor guy had won only 10 Ross trophies, 9 Hart trophies, 4 Stanley cups, has scored the most goals and points in NHL history and holds 61 NHL records. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. In fact he's so overrated, that his number 99 has been retired throughout the entire NHL, just so no one will ever wear that embarrassing number again.

And the final point that really proves he's overrated: Gretzky has more career assists then any other player has points. Pathetic.

The thing about gretzky is, he always has to have someone to feed him the puck, or someone to work with. Like in edmonton, he absilutely owned because he had players to work with, but when he went to st Luis there was no one to work with so he was as useless as goose poop.

So I think players like Mario Lemieux or Bobby Orr are better players because they can make plays by thereselves, and that for me is hockey talent.
