@Trophybow1 hi- thanx 4 reply- the place i saw amazon native man shooting short bow-with arrows between fingers , while hanging off tree branch -is near the END of movie" AT PLAY IN THE FIELDS OF THE LORD- it was a book in 60 s - & film director tried to get film rights for 30 years-finally they let him in 1990s- beautiful photography/music-based on true story of missionaries wrecking native culture

With all respect i believe that natives didnt actually hold the arrow between knucles when they shot. (?) I have tried to find information about the native ways and they DID hold the arrows on bowhand but not between knuckels. We can hold bow more horizontal too but it is easyer to pull the string this way. It is more natural to pull the string to full draw when the bow isnt so horizontal.

Nice shot! As I sit here and watch this, I look up on my wall and recall the different times I myself was able to "Robin Hood"... while looking at the four sets of "now longer arrows" hanging there. Of course, my shots were with a compound bow. However, they ranged at distances of between 20-30 yards (two of each distance). Man do I miss those days of daily slinging arrows at some sort of target downrange! Again, very nice video, and awesome shooting!

@Trophybow1 I'm afraid current health related issues will lead me towards reliving past memories, instead of creating new ones these days. Keep slinging arrows young man, once you no longer can... you will be very glad that you did, while you could! Our passions are what keep us going, so participate within them passionately.

@aloyalblue1 Well then I Thank you Sir, for this advice. I will follow that. I wish you all the best. Perhaps you could share some experiments and your wisdom with us someday? By making some video about our opinions what comes to archery or by commenting our videos more someday if there is something you could point out?
