Broadheads Breaking Bones - GrizzlyStik Single Bevel Broadheads & Tapered Carbon Arrows are best for hunting Africa. Elephant, Cape buffalo, Asiatic buffalo, you name it. Solid forged one-piece broadheads, destroy bone. High forward of center gives you the best penetration. Shoot bowhunting equipment for when things go worng, not for when everything goes right!

  • What you're doing is exactly in alignment with my thinking, too. I shoot heavy arrows, @ 10 grains per lb of draw, with my FOC CG at .29 of the total shaft length from the shaft ferrule. When you say 23% FOC, would that mean that your CG or shaft fulcrum is 23% of the length of the arrow from the insert ferrule or from the broadhead tip?

  • @r22accipiter here is a link to how we measure FOC:

Scroll down the page and you'll see our picture and FOC calculator.
