@CalmPitBull Why are you looking at an old model? PRS-650 and PRS-350 are out now, both with touchscreen, and people say they have considerably less glare. But you are better off going to Sony store and looking yourself of course.

@throble im talking about prs 600 but im worried about glare
-
@CalmPitBull which model are you talking about? ;) and in any case, bookmarks and notes can only be synced if you use Sony's book management software (which s*cks).

i am thinking of buying it, but i have a few questions. is pdf support good, i need it for it books, will i be able to see all the small print? Is the reflection a big problem, and can u copy bookmarks on ordinary computor (comments that u can write directly on sony)
I would be glad if u would answer my questions

@Aislan4414 it never seem like an issue to me. I never paid any attention to it. But you may want to wait with purchase, and see check out new devices (coming in Q4 2010) on colour 'e-ink' - Mirasol from Qualcomm.

@throble Is black flash between pages horribly annoying or is it something you adjusted to pretty quickly? I haven't seen others complain about it. maybe it just seems like it would be an issue on the videos. I'm probably making to much of it.

@Aislan4414 all E-Ink readers do, as far as I know. What's the problem with that? )
-
Do all eReaders flash a black screen between page switching?

@JohnRater that's gross!
I went and looked at the PRS 600 and 300 in person. I really liked the 300 screen, but it is too small plus it has no memory slots. The 600 is nice but it is not as sharp. I just bought the 505 on ebay and I love it. They shouldn't have discontinued it.

In case anyone's wondering, I personally decided to get myself a dark-blue PRS-505.
I'm am judging PRS-600 not just by this video, but by the other one posted on Flickr and a bunch of side-by-side pictures available in the Internet.

Yes, it's a great device! But mind you, I still haven't seen PRS-600 live.
