In this episode we will continue on from episode 94 and get these 1968 Chevy Camaro quarter panels welded on. We've got our Auto Metal Direct OE style full quarter panels installed and our N.O.S. outer wheel tub sectioned in. Man this car is coming together quickly.

  • doent the car have to be on the ground when you weld? will the gaps change when the car is placed on its wheels?

  • @66davidgadd I've got the car setting on the frame bench the gaps came out excellent. I would say sitting on the suspension would be a good place to start for a first quarter panel install if that's what your asking.

  • James you are the man! U make it look so easy dude and hearing that Bacon sizzle make me wanna go eat some breakfest lol

  • @KEITHNICKLOWICZ Thanks for the compliment buddy.

  • thanks bud! ive seen them close before so i thought you had to finish weld sitting on its tires.

  • @AntiSemantic1 If the full quarters weren't available for a car I would probably use skins like the 68 Barracuda. For a Camaro? I'd just get the full quarter.

  • @jamesfreddys Would you even mess with skins, or go straight for the full quarters? I made a huge mess on the drivers side putting a skin on.

  • @AntiSemantic1 I'll clear you out a spot let's have some fun.

  • Boss! When can I bring my Nova over? haha

  • I love your shows. It is way better than watching those crappy hot rod shows on t.v. because you show everything in a real manner without deviating from the subject to advertise expensive parts. You can learn more from one of your shows then you could in five t.v. shows. Great work.
