Took my 93yr old Dad, Son & Son-in-law on B-24 flight in 2010. Was great, Dad's face really lit up when he realized why we flew him to AZ from NC. He piloted a B-24 in the 15th AF, this was the first time since late 1945 he'd been in one!
Then we went and played golf and he won...

My Grandfather was stationed in England. He worked on B-17s. He loved em. He moved onto working with B-29s in the Korean war. Didn't really like em.

I swear you will never see a plane as beautiful as any plane from WWII. Now a days all we have are jets that just shoot missiles that rarely miss their target, and they all look exactly the same. This was truly the golden age of planes, and I wish it would return.
