Jessica Watson, who recently set sail to break the world record of youngest person to sail solo around the globe, takes Panasonic on a tour of her Yacht. Ella's Pink Lady will be Jessica's home for the next 8 months as she sets out to achieve her dream at just 16 years of age.

@zareh77 Well she was on a sailing boat that uses the wind which is free and only used fuel when there is no wind or when coming into port, there are so many ways you can compress and contain food that can last for months, i think she used a small potable filter that you can filter out salt and other microbes that would be drinkable, as for navigation she did it all herself , and that is the amazing thing about her just seeing this little dot in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

@Lisacd121 how did this girl manage to survive a whole year at sea without taking any stops to refuel, buy food if her supplies run out and have her water tank filled up with fresh water if it runs out? what about if she has to take a bath i didnt see a bath tub? lastly was there a boat with an experienced sailor infront of her to guide her so she dosent get lost at sea incase she has problems with her navigation system or if a storm damages her boat?
