Angel's Story

Angel was a baby Goffin's cockatoo bred at PetSmart supplier Rainbow World Exotics. This breeding mill churns out baby birds and mammals for pet stores, treating them like merchandise. Angel was denied veterinary care, handled roughly, and ultimately neglected to death.

I am in complete tears from watching this video. and it appalls me that PETA did not take any assertive action, however much the employee said no. We did not have to see this baby bird suffer and die. What is the point of creating an organization that "saves animals" when all you're going to do is make films of abused animals and only tell people "oh...maybe you could take it to a vet" ?? You seriously disappoint me, and I hope you will take some real action next time.

@officialpeta I think in the future if you come acrose a animel like anjel at one point you should Take it away and clame it is dead then take it to a vet. I know you cant help all of the animels at the time but you can still help one or two at the least espesialy when you document its condition like this. Give the story a happy ending or try.

I kind of dislike how they have these nature shows like phython vs. alligators or something & they just film them illing each other when they sould have helped. Cuz the phython was going extinct in the place where it was filmed. & of course the alligator won so the phython died. & no one tried to save it... :P

I haven't bought a bird from PetSmart in a long time - I adopt second hand. It's the only way they'll stop putting birdies through the mill and through this.
