  • @lozoft9 Retired US Marine here, They are putting arrows down range as accurate and quickly as an assault rifle can be shot accurately. Seeing this makes understand why the Army had a difficult time with the American Indians.

  • @gtauste still wouldnt want to be in front of those two arrows. :\

  • Very interesting!

  • @erihama This would be have been used in mass in siege warfare to slow an incoming charge. In war it is often better to injure than to kill. We are talking hundreds of the fuckers. Ouch.

  • In Japanese Archery (Kyudo) some arrows are "blunts" (as in some whistling arrows or arrows used in ceremony). I'm just guessing, but I saw another video of a gal in this group, shooting at heavy rugs, and a tutorial with what looked like a blunt arrow.

  • @gtauste Watch closely, the guy in front is pulling back to the cheek, but releasing the moment it gets there. Hard to see when it's moving so fast.

  • The bow is not completely tight, wasted most of the power of the weapon and the effort is less. That's not really shooting.
