  • @spifkewl Ya, 54-40 was HUGE here around that time. Wouldn't say the crowd thinned, but then again I was at the front of the crowd and not really looking back. From what I remember they announced 50K people were there in that mud pit!

  • @spifkewl I was at this show too. Made it right to the front on the left side of that security catwalk that ran down the middle. Made it there in time for Eddie's crowd surf. That was 18 yrs ago almost and still the best concert of any kind I ever saw!!

  • This song blows away any "modern rock" song, bands just don't write like this

  • sounds so awesome. great memory.

  • But he's got a great view, AND HE SINKS.. THE NEEDLE.. DEEEEP.

  • wow. heaviest PJ song ever!

  • umhmmmm, although I'd say matt C are and dave A are on par with each other, matt's work on soundgarden was amazing, and Dave's pearl jam adaptations are awesome

  • (cont) I was in the front row for the whole show, just a bit "stage-right" of center. Eddie actually poured wine in my eyes at this show. This show was months before they released their second album and half the show was new songs, it was fantastic. I really wish the rest of the songs were on here. The Sonic Reducer was sick and the encore of Baba O'Reily still stands out as one of my greatest concert moments ever. Thnx so much for posting these and please post more of them if you have them

  • Oh my god, I was at this show, my buddy has the bootleg copy he made from it. I never even bothered to search for it because I never imagined it would be online. The thing that stands out to me form this show is coming up from Grand Forks, ND to Gimli and a band called 54-40 opened for Pear Jam. I swear to god, the crowed thinned after they got done. The whole crowd knew every word to their songs and us USA boys had never even heard of them. (tbc..)

  • these 1993 shows are much more dark and intense than the 1992 ones...eddie is really "rabid" in all of them...
