Since 1975 a lot of people have entered in VN in order to invest, viet kieu and foreign, and they still continue their activity or live there. The only people I know that had to run away are 3 persons who thought to go there and make easy money with illegal speculations and have ruined the life of many local person, who invested their saving.

Reply to dakarateboi What you say is completely true Saigon before Hoe Chi minh (hoe was purposeful mistake) People in Saigon were wealthy in a well developed city every one had cars, after Hoe a 60 cc motor bike is a car for a family of 5. It is true that VN population in the remote areas in very poor, and for this they have to thank the american invasion with the consequent longest, destroiful and cruel war of this century and almost 20 years of coward embargo (the hatred of loosers). Vietnameses are too capable for having reached the actual situation and in a few years , if nobody (phanlinhfa)will break again their balls, life standard will improve for more people (not for everyone, as US actual situation teaches)
