What sort of input voltage are you using for that? o.o

hi Satanzorz, input voltage is rectified mains (320V). The driver uses a MOSFET halfbridge.

This type of high power flybacks is very rare to find nowadays, but I was lucky enough to find one in an old TV. In the video it is running at about 250Watts, but now I have removed some turns from the primary winding so it now runs at about 300W, with no overheating.

Well the best thing you can do is to wind your own on the exposed core. The internal windings will sometimes work but external are much better.

LOOK FOR GREEN DOT! when you harvest a fly back look for the green dot. Means the windings are comercial grade. Good place to get huge fly back is one those huge projection tvs lol ez 40kv~
