@88Matija the second reason its difficult to add weight to your pushups so they become harder. Most of the time you want to train maximum strength with heavy weights and low reps. however That doesnt mean to vary the intensity by doin high reps, isometric exercises drop sets pp cant be effective.

@88Matija if you´re a beginner thats fine, however do the pushups slowly to increase the intensity. As soon as you advance pushups wont be as good of a chest exercise to build muscle mass as benchpress for the following reasons: pushups are a compound exercise, benchpress is more an isolation exercise. That means you use more different muscles to do a pushup then you do for a benchpress, but this also means you wont activate as many muscle fibers.

Supersets are hard to do when you're in a crowded NYC gym like I am a member of. Someone is ALWAYS on the equipment you need to do your second exercise of your superset.
