Slide Guitarist Supreme Jeremy Spencer and 2 tracks from his Fleetwood Mac Days. The first one a live track that dates from his final days in the band. The other "Doctor Brown" is from the LP English Rose. Enjoy.
I agree, stag, the band should have changed their name after Green left, but they said that McVie and Fleetwood were still in the band - a powerful case for retaining the name, over and above commercial/brand recognition reasons.
My preference is to refer to the post Green versions as "The American" FM, to separate out the Blues, from the commercial manifestations. Having said that, I consider Buckingham to be a great guitarist, and that includes his acoustic material.
Dr. Brown is one of my favorite tracks. Fabulous Elmore James imitation down to the last nuance, hilarious lyrics, but I think the song is a Fleetwood original. But Elmore would have covered it if he'd been around, I suspect! I hope everyone knows that Dr. Brown was a popular tonic sold to poor people, as was Dr. Pepper originally.
@blueice0170 And for one thing, Dr. Brown was released on Mr. Wonderful, before Danny became part of the band. I'm not sure about Preaching Blues, although it is definitely Jeremy on vocals.

A master at work. Only one Fleetwoodmac in my opinion. Anything after Peter Green and Jeremy Spencer isn't Fleetwoodmac...
