  • Thanks EntertainMe Thai for giving us the challenge to do better than 300 promo contacts?

Come on diggers from the Regiment let's show our grunt!

  • We have to improve our efforts to promote the Campaign's penetration into the community. Pete's video series certainly exposes the issues. A new series is being prepared that will include the current Military Superannuation Benefits Scheme (MSBS) to which all military enlisted people must contribute.

  • Have just promoted all 9 ADSO videos to over 300 of my email friends. Hope it helps to increase the number of hits, & to spread the word. Good luck!

  • Today, 3Feb12, is the very last day on which we DFRDB recipients can take advantage of a golden opportunity to have the Gillard government discuss this disgraceful situation. The PM has arranged an "urgent meeting" for the ALP Caucus & backbenchers on 5Feb12 to discuss pressing issues facing the government. It's too late for letters. Send an email NOW to your local member or the PM [email addrs from: vvv.aph.gov.au (Replace "v" with "w") then click HouseOfReps then Members then AlphabeticalList]

  • Well done Pete! Have just finished watching all 9 of your ADSO videos, & I'm most impressed, Sorry I didn't view them earlier. Thank you for taking the time & making the effort to produce them. It is certainly in aid of a most worthy cause. I'm saddened though, to note the lack of viewings that have occurred (1,826 is the highest to date on "4 ADSO"). I will do my best to promote these videos to other DFRDB recipients & our supporters. Cheers, & keep up the good work.

  • Thank you for your efforts on our behalf Peter.

Superannuation indexation most sereiously effects older and less senior (in rank) ex-servicepersonnel and their families who have ‘served in silence’, believing that successive Governments, as their employer, would always attend to their welfare as they are entrusted to do. It is indeed a National disgrace that such is not the case. This inaction demands an independent body be established to advise Governments on all aspects of military welfare.
