Es uno de mis cantantes favoritos.
Nació en Jarrow (Reino Unido). Cantante, compositor y guitarrista, el éxito que evocó su nombre con mayor fuerza fue "Music", una balada rockera y sinfónica que produjo su amigo Alan Parsons. Su álbum debut se llamó: "Rebel", y en el se incluían otros de sus grandes éxitos "Highfly", que salió antes, en 1975, publicado como un single en el Reino Unido.

A mediados de la década de los 80, tras publicar "Transition" (1985), acompañó en varias de sus giras a Alan Parsons Project, Jimmy Page, Tina Turner y Joe Cocker. Hubo que esperar hasta 1993 para ver publicado un nuevo álbum de Miles en solitario: "Upfront".
Y ésta balada es una de mis preferidas, aunque bastante triste porque habla de desamor.
