This is a song I wrote three nights ago called My Father Was. I played it in the key of G in this video.
As you can tell, I'm reading the lyrics off of a paper. I don't have the whole thing memorized yet.
BTW, my father is actually still alive, but the rest of the song is pretty accurate. I hope you like it!
