This program (it is not OS) doesn't have any specific advantages over the modern GUI paradigms, as they were created to get rid of paper clutter on desk and not to recreate it on a computer, as this software does.

Ive tried this like 2 or 3 years ago and its NOT good, it doesn't give you ANY usability or organizing. Its just funny to throw all the shit around.

This product is called BumpTop, now discontinued gui shell for windows and mac. It was made by a Canadian startup company by the same name around 2009. The company as been bought by Google in 2010. Reportedly parts of it has found its way into android honeycomb.
Look up BumpTop on Wikipedia.

I liked the 'product'? presentation, because it's a very original operating GUI. Though I doubt it would actually boast my productivity. So far it seems like an original and fun gimmick. I'd love to see further development on this GUI.
Btw is there also an original OS underneath the hood? Is it an adaptation of some *NIX OS?

This is actually very cool.
I'd use this.

Technically, Bumptop (now owned by Google) is a shell, not an OS.

The repeated use of 'lassue' insted of 'lassOh' is what really killed it for me.
