hi. nice design. just wondering, with those birds chucking the seeds out while eating , would all of that be used up in a day. that's the problem i guess, it doesn't last for a while and is costly. i'm looking at a design that gets used up slower, so i can have a longer visual effect outdoors, to attract cockatoos and lorikeets.

I use a mix of Sunflower seeds and seed mix that you both get at Wal-mart :-p :-/
It was so interesting that we got these, after just a few days they were gone. This last year I didn't try to attract them, my expanded garden was too close to my comfort zone to the feeder area...perhaps when I get a larger yard. Thanks for the comment!
