Yeah; Midtown Comics is the bomb! I literally start drooling when I go in there. The branch in Times Square is where I have my comics pulled every week. Did you go there? Or to the one on Lexington Ave? So you liked Jim Hanley's better? I see it on the way to work but never stopped in (looks like their doing some renovating?)

Regarding Disney buying Marvel:
Disney already owns Miramax, the distributor of Kevin Smiths and Quentin Tarantinos movies. That fact alone should be proof enough that Disney doesn't really have any interest in changin marvel in any way.

The next issue of Thor ends JMSs run. I really hope the new writer isnt lame. Its such an awesome book.

I'm glad we agree on the Batgirl issue. What I loved about Cassandra was that she was NOT defined by her Chinese background. She wasn't "Dragongirl", she was Batgirl! Also, just being Batgirl made her an A-lister, unlike all the other Asian heroes.

Excellent point with Batgirl. I'm glad you brought it up. Cassandra Cain was great. I can only think of one Asian hero off the top of my head. The female Dr. Light who was a member of the Justice League and the new Atom. And thanks again for recommending Scalped. I've been enjoying the series so far.
