Original by Tony Ellis was written in C tuning, this works just as well but doesnt have that 'modal' feel about it. I first heard this tune at the end of a documentary 'History of the banjo' it was so relaxing it blew me away. Still makes me feel tired each time I play it!

  • @lpilk2007 great i will look out for it on your channel. Yes I found out pretty much the same way about this tune, it was actually only through YT that I found what it was. Have to admit though the tune sounds better played in C tuning, I have already started playing it a bit more fluid since I posted this, and fill in with a roll around the 4th string when played now. C'est la vie!
