I Feel Like Running My Last Mile Home by the Singing Cookes; Recorded Live at the Dayton Memorial Auditorium; Song written by Kenneth Tanner of the Tanner Boys, Nebo, WV 25141;
@mercierjesse97 To my understanding they are not. They are however related to the Freemans , Genette maiden name is Freeman, and She's Darrell Freemans sister.
I don't care how dry you might be, when you hear the Cookes sing this song your feet start moving and the next thing you know your shouting and the fire of the Holy Ghost starts stirring you. I could listen to this song all day. I love the Cookes. I've seen them several times as a youngster at Dayton Memorial Hall, hosted by Norm Livingston back in the 70's.
It's enough to make a dummy shout!
