I am back in the kitchen making fun and delicious science projects!
Today, I made coconut kefir, and then used the coconut meat to create a
fermented coconut pudding. I show you a super easy way to scoop out
coconut meat, and get you on your way making this delicious tropical
treat. Feel free to ask questions!

  • I'm all for fermented food and its benefits, but I hate sour food, and everything fermented just tends to become sour. I guess that's the whole point: creating an acidic environment to discourage the growth of pathogens, but gee, the idea of something as good as coconut turning sour...

  • BRILLIANT!!

    LOVE IT!!!

  • HI Bunny,

Great job! I love your teaching style. I have a whole quart of coconut kefir in my fridge right now. So good on a juice feast! We have been playing with coconuts here at Living Light all week too. The students blended coconut meat and water with some salt into a cream and dehydrated them into wraps. Today they made Raw coconut raviolis with them. Wow! Wholesome and comforting.

I love the way you show of getting out the meat with your spatula. Impressive!

    Love,

    Elaina
