This is a video I made of Oblivion running on my 8800 GTX C2D E6600 system. I installed the "Oblivion - Make it Pretty" mod pack from Gamespot as well as enabled multithreading options in the .cfg file. My resolution was 1600x1200 with HDR, 16xQAA (choose "overide any application setting" in nVidia CP), and 16xAF with all sliders and options set to maximum. The card had a really hard time with these settings at 1800x1440 but 1600x1200 was butter smooth. The original video can be downloaded here (its worth the download): http://rapidshare.com/files/7079762/Oblivion_8800_GTX_1600x1200_LOD_enhanced.MOV

  • @manu3733

    thats cause ur monitor BLOWS

  • @Rovelius holy fuck, yeah im buying a new video card,im finaly going to play it with huge fps!

  • @Rovelius anyway it doesn't matter I changed my res to my desktop res and now it looks better than this.

  • @Rovelius My card is better than his so I'm wondering how he got a higher res but it doesn't really matter that much because with a few ini tweaks I learned how to render most of cyrodiil.

  • @blackbird309 Actually I can run the game well and make it look better than this but back then some weird my pc lagged more for some reason so I had to keep the settings down a bit and my graphics card is nvidia geforce g210 it's not the best but it can run oblivion on ultra setting with ini tweaks and 15 to 30 fps on average so for some reason it improved by itself.

  • @manu3733 You are probably using an low end graphics card or integrated.

  • @manu3733 From a performance/price point of view, it's very close to the best you can get at the moment

    CPU: Phenom II x4 955 3.2GHz Quad-Core

    GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5

    RAM: 4GB DDR3 1.3GHz PC12800

    MOB:Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3

HDD and other misc. stuff are negligible

  • @Rovelius What is your hardware.

  • @manu3733 I bought my PC last week and I play Oblivion on 1920x1080 maxed out with x8AA + graphics enhancing mods and I get a VERY steady 60 FPS

    Lrn2buildPCs? =]

  • wait a second this was filmed in 2006 I got my pc in march 2010 and I can only make it 1400x1050 res.
