CI is nothing without him, Goren made the show and VDO made him the best ever detective in all of L&O series. I love this man!

A better actor?  OMG how could he possibly BE A BETTER ACTOR? I adore this man and he is the 'law' in Law and Order....this man is absolutely INCREDIBLE as an actor. The best of all time!!! This interview is priceless and shows exactly how GREAT an actor he really is....he's just being real here.....so different from Bobby....hope whatever he does brings him as much pleasure as Goren and Eames brought to us!!! Thanks for the memories ..catch you in every rerun I can find!
