This dumb bitch is seriously trying to compare having an abortion to a soldier in combat? There's a huge difference between killing a defenseless human fetus and killing a grown ass man in combat. Especially since you seem to have a need to articulate yourself in a very aggressive way. But I would just like to ask you if you think everyone who is in combat is in combat by their own free will? In war defensless kids are killed all the time. Usually it is the women and the kids who suffer under war. Most people killed in war are defenseless.

Listen, this song is called "Amendment" which refers to making an Amendment to the U,S. Constitution. And as such one can assume that she is talking about U.S. Soldiers when she speaks of men getting decorated for killing and not some 3rd world scrub army. So you're telling me they run around murdering women and children?

@UDTNavySEAL and I was not 29 when I asked my doctor I was 19 years old at the time. I went to 3 doctors at the time and they all told me you may want one when your older yada yada yada f***ers. My genetics are bad and my carbon footprint ends with me. I do not want to procreate. and most men don't want to use a condom it takes two to tango and one to make the choice. If its the man or woman its up to them. In my exp. both are dumb. lol

I don't want kids at all so because I don't want kids, y should I be forced to have them? btw I never had a abortion and practice safe sex! My cuz went in to a docs office to get a vasectomy at the age of 23 and got one. I walk in to a docs office at 29 and ask for my tubes tied but they won't give me one cause I may want akid at 35. And that was a man that made that decision for me.

@1timeuser0904 Aside from rape, isn't it a woman's choice that leads her to become pregnant. Yeah...sounds like fault to me. Make better choices and if you don't want to have children stop having sex... very simple but that doesn't register to some people and those people certainly shouldn't be having children anyway. We have a duty to protect the innocent, not the irresponsible.

But it is a SINGLE woman's choice to have one and that is no concern of yours, mines or anyone else's. And notice I said "single" because in all honesty if 2 people are in a committed partnership both parties should talk about the best choices that need to be made.

Ok why do people debate on war. Its wrong period. The soldiers that die during war far are the ones that lose. The people that win during any time of war are the ones that profit the most, not your brother, sister, mother or father fighting for any country. Thats the purpose of war, not to fight on whats right or wrong, its about profit and of course patriarchy.

I actually really appreciate this song. I first heard it Live @ the 9:30 Club in D.C. last year. I realize it's super controversial - mostly bc ppl seem hardwired with a need to fight and argue over what someone else - everyone else is doing wrong or not doing right - but that being said I was especially touched by the line "If you don't like abortion don't have an abortion and teach your children how to avoid them" I'm pro-choice... but it isn't MY choice.
