she gets the chance because then it was YOUR idea not hers. And get her to switch directions a few times to show that you are controlling her movements. And don't give up. I mean today I wanted too and wanted to so badly just scream and give up but I continued and i'm glad I did because its already paying off. She may not get it at first but just keep trying. She'll catch on eventually and then it will all have been worth it :)

Its worth a try. Do it until she gets the idea and remember even if she just does one circle at first lots of praise and pats.
Be good to get her use to weird looking things too haha. Thats one of the ways I desensitized my horse.
If you have to and she just won't move you can give her a little pop on the butt the get her moving at first. Just remember to watch for the signs and don't let her think anything is her idea. If she looks like she is going to stop ask her to stop before she...

My mare tried that today. I was literally doing Join Up for an hour! She kept not following me. She would follow for a little bit then just stop and be like w.e. Do you use a lunge whip?
Sometimes you just have to crack it and jump and basically throw a fit while chasing them until they finally move haha. You could try tying a bag to the lunge whip. People do that to sack a horse out, but it could get her to move too
