NEW DAIKIN AIR COND NOISY SOUND & WATER DRIPPING CAUSE ME SLEEP WITH PRESSURE.

I have installed this new daikin aircond model: MA56EVI,FT25DVM on 2.6.09 it gave me a lots of problem and sleeping with pressure (1) can heared the noisy sound from the blower about more than 500 times pernight (2) water dripping.The
daikin technician had checked and was told that this new product can cause the noisy sound (contract/expansion sound) due to changing of the new blower & plastic casing,and he only can apply insulation to minimse the sound but can't make it to no sound.Today 27.6.09 I still Have to sleep with this irritating sound and minor water dripping. CAN ANY BOBY HELP ME TO DEAL WITH DAIKIN SINGAPORE?

why does the operation, timer and fan only light on the indoor unit does not light up when using a universal ac remote but not the original remote control?

Hi gudison,

I installed FT25DVM. Have your exact same problem (1)... and the techinician did the same thing.... stuck some insulation around the blower casing. The NEW noise that I hear is like someone had covered up the blower with a blanket and the blower is blowing into the blanket... think u know what I mean.

What sound is it making, is it a clicking sound or are you annoyed with the sound of the wind?

Try turning the louvre off so that it doesnt move, mine makes a little bit of noise so at night I turn the louvre off ( the bit that moves up and down)
