@RecordWarped I think it's always in to diss one release from a respected & usually acclaimed artist so they choose this one. Yet while 'TOSOTMirror' is my all round fave, it was her most removed from earth to land of fairies CD-'Street Angel' returned to earth but was still very much her. Intriguingly enough, a dozen or so tracks from it were actually first conceived from your fave's era-'Rock A Little'-All her CDs were cool until the latest. 'SA' though is such an endurer.

@TheMjblades "Street Angel" is a great starting point for Stevie. I can't understand why that album doesn't get the respect it deserves. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with it at first, but now it's right up there in the top tier of Stevie releases. "Kick It" is superb.
But I'll always gravitate back to "Rock a Little" as a Stevie album that strikes a perfect chord with me, song after song.

@RecordWarped I love this song and the album but my favorite one from Rock a Little is 'The Nightmare'

@nwlman I prefer Bella Donna but The Wild Heart and Rock A Little are great too. And so are The Other Side Of The Mirror and Trouble in Shangri-La. Street Angel is only very good since I don't like the song Jane, the only song of these six albums I don't like.

I got into album-wise with-of all things; the much-dissed 'Street Angel' album which I found rather fine. This CD came next & this album was more of a grower, but this song stood out from the start. PopCulture20 surprises me-'Can't Wait' is a great single, 'Has Anyone' is nice but not special single-wise. But 'Rock A little Lily' wasn't a single! For a popular US singer, it's weird Stevie only gets 3 off an album, 2 if the album's deemed a flop like 'SAngel'. But 4 from overrated 'Bella Donna'.

I love her powerful vocals as well (can anyone say Edge of Seventeen?), but a song like this is SO eighties, and just balances her musical selection so perfectly...
-
all the album is gold...the best with also the other side...
-
@PopCulture20 - I liked both of those singles. Although the one time she did "I Can't Wait" on stage, it was a complete and utter disaster. "Talk to Me," though not written by Stevie, is a great song. I really like what she did with it.
-
Although I like this tune, I prefer her more powerful vocals.
-
I agree because ''I Can't Wait'' & ''Talk To Me'' were HORRIBLE CHOICES for singles but ''Rock A Little'' & ''Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You'' were good choices despite failing to chart higher
Another fantastic, sadly overlooked song from my favorite Stevie Nicks album -- as if I could pick just one!

Ok, hearing this song has made up my mind to go and buy the CD! Thanks so much for sharing. Stevie is a true classic and one of the most talented singers/song writers of ALL TIME.
