I had never heard this song until about 13 years ago when a friend of mine included it on a Ron Dante compilation cassette he sent me. After that, I was hooked on this song. I have bought the 45 3 times now... just to make sure I always have one.

There's a very good reason why this sounds like a Cufflinks song-that's Ron Dante singing both the leads and the backgrounds! Yep, the same Ron Dante who recorded "Tracy" (under the name The Cufflinks) and provided the singing voice of Archie! LOL!! This song is so trippy it's great! I LOVE it! Thanks for posting it! Ha! Ha! Shows that even The Archies have a dark side!
