  • Where is the theme starting at 6:46 ending 7:00 developed further, in the suite?

  • @umaralansari: is that a serious question?

  • @HorstBerbel I believe it is spelled 'Kiev', not 'Kiew'. Just pointing that out.

  • @Nanertot In the English version you are absolutely right. In the German language is it Kiew - and so I did a mistake because I am a German ;-)

  • Thanks Guys! The conductor himself is happy!

  • When Great Gate of Kiev starts I get goose bumps...

Baba Yaga is great, but the gate is magical

  • Awesome! original interpretation!!

  • @WelcomeToZomboCom

he's willing to pay it though ;d

  • @rudderhardtoport dude calm down it doesnt cost $2000 lol

  • my band is playing this (not a orchestra) and I was just wondering is this how fast is it supposed to be played? pls answer

  • There is only one experience more enjoyable than listening to this song, and that is to play it. Even the cheap middle-school arrangement our band played because we couldn't play anything more difficult... when that gong smashes your heart flutters a little.

Of course, the experience is ruined when the gong smashes to the floor in the middle of the song and all the percussionists begin rolling on the floor laughing hysterically.

  • @umaralansari

It's the opening theme of this whole work. It is called promenade.

  • @5:06- @5:38 is pretty tough on the piano version, esp. when they overlap.
