I wrote this during a very difficult period of my life, a time of betrayal and extreme pain.

Sometimes the people you allow to get close to you are the very people who will turn your world upside down. These selfish people have no scruples and are without empathy.

There are often signs along the way that we overlook because we want to believe that people we let into our lives and inner circle wouldn't betray us. My advice is don't ignore the signs and follow your instincts, get rid of people like this in your life and save yourself the wasted energy, time and pain.. .




Sorry about the sound quality - this was a necessary catharsis and just needed to get it out of my system - and didn't want to fuss about with extra editing and recording equipment ! LOL

thanks Jason....the lyrics were written on a long flight and the melody was jingled and done improvisation-ishly in one take- was an upwelling of some stuff I had going on in my life at the time....thank god I have moved on! LOL

I crept out of hiding myself, to give a kind and praise filled word for this delight in musical expression. I loved the swaying feel of its prance, and felt the sharpness of its lyrics. Bravo my dear Lesley! Bravo!
