Some movies you remember all your life,like this one.If i remember right he picks the wonderful Shelly Winters up in a swimming pool.Gritty & realistic.Thanks for posting.

I though you meant Bobby Hyatt passed. No, you're right John went back to theater after this film, did Golden Boy for a brief time (some of it was filmed) and struggled with those HUAC bastards. He didn't take care of himself between the smoking and poor diet. With a bad heart, you can't roll the dice that way. Who wants to die at 39?
