Part 1 of the sculpting process of a Khorne Bloodletter. All footage is only 8% of the original time. Complete time was around 4 or 5 hours (with part 2 ) Basemesh was done by Farhad Nojumi, and all the sculpting was done by me. Made with Mudbox 2011
@Destrega2097 hmm I see, that means i could indeed use this one, but i'd rather just get a seperate one altogether for work. So operating system doesnt really matter as long as it's not windows 98 right?
@BaldurandVali if you only wanna model and sculpt like this, you need a good graphics card and RAM. Cpu power is only interesting for rendering (except you use a gpu based render software, then you can throw the cpu complete away;) ). So a character like this I reccomend 8 to 12 GB ram, then you won't have Problems. If you got only 6 for example, you couldnt detail it that much, you'd had to go one step lower, but would be possibly still enough for all kind of purposes. So 12 gb would be super
@Destrega2097 Thanks, and what type of PC would you recommend soley for work such as this? The one i have now is very good and well but i use it mostly for gaming and such and space is starting to get a little scarce.
@BaldurandVali Sure, and I dont like software jumping, so like doing this in max, then this in zbrush, then this in mudbox, then this in maya and so on. As a professional 3D artist you have your weapons of choice and you have to master them - decide for one package for specific tasks in the pipeline after heavy testing and then stick to them and dont try to learn an other software again, just because their newest version has some nice uber awesome features one really doesnt need;)
and cool at same time
