Dado Villa-Lobos, Eduardo Dutra Villa-Lobos (Brussels - Belgium, June 29, 1965) is a Brazilian musician, great-grandson of composer Heitor Villa-Lobos.
He played guitar at band Legião Urbana in 1983. He played the band Dado e o Reino Animal before replacing Ico Ouro-Preto, on the eve of recording the first LP.
He is responsible for production of the latest records of the Legião urbana band: A Tempestade (or O Livro dos Dias) , Uma Outra Estação and Como É que Se Diz Eu Te Amo.
He is the author of the soundtracks of the films O Homem do Ano (by José Henrique Fonseca), Bufo & Spallanzani (film) (by Flávio Tambellini) - for which he received the award for best soundtrack in the Festival of Brazilian Cinema in Miami -"Pro Dia Nascer Feliz" (de João Jardim) - and " Insomnia "(John Garden) - also winner Kikito for Best Soundtrack at the Gramado Festival 2006.
He released his first solo album, Dado Villa-Lobos and Jardim de Cactus Live in partnership with MTV in the MTV project presented in 2005. The DVD and CD were recorded in April of that year.
