I did a little checking, Searchin was
written by Leiber and Stoller for the
Coasters. It was recorded by ATCO
on a 45. Was on the R&B chart for
l2 weeks and number 3 on the Pop
Chart. The flip was "Young Blood".
It was recorded in March l957
