1. Install the Classic emulator on your pre. You want to do this anyway.
2. Then install/run the updater for the classic app.
3. Then act like you're reinstalling docs to go on your pc. Open the palm Install Tool and it will show a list of files that would have gone to the old palm.
4. Copy all files on list from old palm to SD card using FileZ. Then copy all these to the Classic Apps install folder.
Glad they decided to make this available. I used to work at an Apple Retail store, and while I didn't have an iPhone, I did have a touch, and how I wish I could sync, edit, save and send .Doc and .XLS files on the go. I'm actually very excited about the Pre. Keep posting. I like learning.

Later versions of Docs To Go work on pre.

4. Copy all files on list from old palm to SD card using FileZ. Then copy all these to the Classic Apps install folder.
5. Sync docs folder to pc with MS "Sync Toy."

I'm glad this is coming for the Pre. I use Docs 2 Go on my Centro pretty much on a daily basis.

can you try sending .docx .xclx and .pptx documents youself and opening them?
