Rep. Buyer pissed me off, politicians claim to be experts all the time and have people speak to support their "evidence" that aren't experts. Just because someone isn't a doctor doesn't mean what they're saying isn't true, (or is true), you can't just dismiss it. I'm embarrassed he's a Republican, or claims to be. This was just sad and infuriating. They definitely need to see if this is true or not.

I appreciate everyone that is outraged that soldiers may find themselves in this situation but Mr. Luther is flat out dishonest. Dont get me wrong...all of us should be outraged about things like this...just verify...I served with this man and he should be ashamed for this

Mr. Luther is not telling the truth. I served with him in Iraq.I was there and I refute every statement he has ever made about this issue. Most of us do. I am amazed that this man has been able to fool so many people and that this issue (as it pertains to Mr. Luther) made it to the level that it did.I wonder what he has to say about biting his nurse that was taking care of him or the fact that he spit on our chaplain. All wrong.you should be ashamed of yourself Luther. You cant fool me.

From what I remember, my oath of service was to protect the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic. The first amendment guarantees our freedom of speech. That freedom of speech, the freedom to voice your opinion without fear of repercussions, is what ultimately keeps our government in check and keeps us free. I didn't serve in the Navy to blindly follow orders. I did it because, at the time, I felt it was my duty to do so. I didn't serve so people like you could be dicks.
