The Troubadour Gallery, London, was where Morgan Fisher held his BACKTRACKS & ABSTRACTS photo show during the Mott the Hoople reunion week, October 2009. The video starts with a sleepy, husky voiced Morgan describing the view from his Chelsea holiday apartment early on the first morning of the show, October 1. He mistakenly calls "the Gherkin" building "the Aubergine."
People from all over the world came to see Morgan's Mott the Hoople photos and abstract "Light Paintings." The event turned out to be an ideal gathering place for Mott fans. The atmosphere was warm and bright, due in no small part to the 50-year history of The Troubadour as a place for art and music (Bob Dylan played his first ever London show there).
