Terrorist Raid on Whitehall, Alabama Gaming Center

Alabama Governor sent his goons to raid legal gaming center. They were looking for illegal slot machines, (with guns drawn). The nerve of the cowardly terrorists in 2009.

What you should be afraid of are the politicians and state officials that you elected that allowed these places to be built, when it states in the alabama constitution that gambling is forbidden and against the law. These are the type of people that would roll over you to get what ever they want. Now if it was not against the law you could build these places when and where ever and gamble all day.

I notice that most of the folks in Greene County, who are defying the governor, are black. I think Governor Wallace (sorry, I meant Governor Riley) and General Tyson should take about 2000 white state troopers to Greene County and show the rest of the world what Alabama is really all about.

The law is the law, and whether people like it or not, it has to be enforced by somebody, and since Troy King has neglected to fulfill his duties, Gov. Riley has stepped up to the plate. People complain that this is taking away jobs, and that may be so. But those jobs are being funded by illegal activity. Prostitution may create jobs, but it's still illegal. This is in no way any different. Gambling is a major plague on its surrounding communities and ruins lives, families, and kills economies.
