That didn't make too much sense. I can't even comprehend what you're writing. Look, I have read the entire Bible. There wasn't a lot there. Certainly not a bottomless sea. His prophecy didn't come true. Concede the point, or at least stop responding with incoherencies.
@skotnevins to understand a psalm it takes between 10 and 30 pages of a book! John Hrisostom has several books where he clarify some parts of the Bible!some of them are the Book of Psalms and Mathew's Gospel! to explain 53 Psalms( the others have not been found ) the book has 741 pages! and the Gospel of Mathew's Homily has 1051 pages! so again the Bible even literally explained it takes at home a full book-stand, think about the Apocalypse that John the Theolog wrote.
@skotnevins and if it was for the world to end in that generation ,tell me please why the Disciples went through so much troubles and even died for the Gospel in faraway lands? why not just retire in a mountain and wait The Judgement Day?because other people needed to know The Truth that is Jesus Christ! for the generation to come ,or if you like, for the generations to come! words of God are heavy to understand, more when is about prophecies,so understand it! he did not mispredicted
@skotnevins and to say that Jesus which all Christians believe and know He is our God , lied to us and to those before us? just because you believe a generation is 40 years long?what kind of generation ? i am sure He was talking about the generation of Christians! they will see what He predicted come true, again you are part of that generation even if you are catholic or protestant or anything else
@skotnevins i might have problems with grammar and spelling! but when i said that the Bible is a bottomless sea , they are not my words i just copy them! Saints of the past and the living ones can prove that, read what they say about the Bible! not just a group of books gathered in a single one, but the contains of it! the fact that it contains not only acknowledges of this world (which we do not know yet), and from outside and inside this world too
Both events, he predicted, would happen within that generation's time. Maybe you should read it again. It really is quite clear. The prophecy wasn't fulfilled. Here's another proof that Christ taught that the end of the world would be in his generation's time: his disciples all thought the end of the world would happen in their time. They got that from Christ.
@myyvaine I have trouble reading what you write because you have trouble writing. Your spelling and grammar are terrible! Yes, I know what the Bible is! How offensive! It's not a, "bottomless sea." It's a compilation of books about things that are holy. Guess what? A generation only lasts about 40 years. When Christ said that this generation shall not pass until ALL these things take place, he was referring to the destruction of the temple and the end of the world.
A single day to God is as a thousand years
