This is some footage I shot after a day of perch fishing on board the Victory with Captain Rick. A severe thunderstorm blew up from the southwest and moved in on us while out on the lake. The only reason we are out in this is because just about everyone wanted to catch more fish.

What this video doesn't show is the cooler with 90 perch in it from 3 people fishing. For anyone who has wanted to catch perch but doesn't have access to a boat this is your ticket out there! I'm usually good for about 10 trips a summer to fill my freezer to the top with genuine Lake Erie Perch, that normally costs $18 a pound to buy.

  • Victory kicks edward johns ass

  • Lake erie perch is one of the best tasting fish I could say I've ever had, and believe me, I've had a lot of fish. Living in Lorain, I've caught my fair share of the fish, so I applaud you for sticking it out through the storm, that stuff is like gold.

  • this storm is nothing...try having to work on 10-15 foot swells in the middle of november and if im not mistaken is this the canadian side of erie
