Sarah talks about hand surgery to repair ulnar nerve, which was damaged when she stabbed herself in the heel of her dominant hand while doing dishes. Knife accident happened on January 17th, 2010. This video was recorded Sunday, January 24th, 2010. Surgery is January 25th. Ring and pinkie on dominant hand are in claw shape and have limited movement / very little strength. Also numbish.
Thank you so much for this video- beats any text book description for ulnar nerve palsy .

Thank you for posting this, I'm a medical student and you have no idea how difficult it is to keep all these nerve lesions of the hand straight! Now I have a visual hopefully I can remember it better :)

Thanks for the video...I fell through the glass top of a coffee table nearly twenty years ago now and did pretty much the same to left hand.(The ulnar nerve was severed unfortunately)
...but it is really cool to see someone with a similar injury!I kinda thought I was alone! My pinky and ring finger are the same way.I play guitar and I know how you feel with dealing with your flute. I wish you the best.
