Activity Purpose
To recognize the integral role of a lifestyle intervention, including diet and increased physical activity, for achieving weight loss and reducing cardiovascular risk factors in overweight or obese patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus
Target Audience
This activity is directed to endocrinologists, primary care physicians, internists, and other healthcare professionals who manage and treat patients with T2DM
