Police Chase | BMW M5 E39 vs. Volvo V70 R | Holland

BMW M5 E46 [343HP / 0-100kmh in 5.2s] vs. Volvo V70 R [250HP / 0-100kmh in 7.3sec]

Police try to stop a BMW M3 for speeding but he takes of. At the German border they could continue the pursuit into Germany, but because there where no German Police-Units in the area they stop the pursuit. But whit help from the german police they could find the cars owner at his license-plate. His penalty: 7.500 Dutch Guilder [€3.400 = $4.700]. Clip from Dutch TV show: Blik op de Weg.

dutch law is they have to stop you to take your license. So the owner only got a big speeding ticket, but kept his license.. his reward for crossing the German border :) great!

They cant impound your lisence if they dont stop you for speeding indeed. But if the car is involved in a pursuit its a 'crime'. And in this case they COULD impound the car owners license. (Driving or not).

de snelste volvo haalt 260km dat is 40km minder dus ik zie geen probleem!!

Met je volvo, dat kan je niet vergelijken naast bmw, en vooral niet naast een M5 idioot. volvo gaat misschien 245kmh. Maar een M5 rijdt origineel 300kmh. Dus je volvo redt dat nog lang niet. En geen 1 volvo haha.

De snelheid die je ziet is de ge-ijkte, daadwerkelijke snelheid. Op het klokje geeft ie ~10% meer aan (bij normale banden), dus die gaf waarschijnlijk tegen de 260-270 aan..

Tis jammer genoeg geen V70R die de politie rijdt.... anders hadden we hier +250 op t klokkie zien verschijnen...

Haha, I know this guy quite well. First of all, he was driving into Germany, NOT Belgium.

He actually lost his drivers licence in the time to follow because of several similar incidents. The funny thing is, he plays classical music al lthe time. I remember sitting next to him on the German Autobahn, going 240km/h (150mph), h9im steering with one hand, Vivaldi pounding from the speakes and he's sitting there all relaxed and enjoying the calm ride. A cool dude. Pity his right foot was a bit heavy
