Hi Guys, sorry about the recording of the bass, came out a little distorted but I can assure you it actually sounds really good. I hope to build another one with a few better quality parts etc so watch this space but it might be a while coming. Let me know if you've done something similar and I'd love to see some links posted so I can have a look.

  • great work. How did you work out the tuning ?

  • @DrSativa I put the lines on the block by ear and tuned each string with harmonics as you do on a fretless. It's also 34" scale length, same as a normal bass so I suppose you could always match up with another bass and mark on that way.... should have thought of that one earlier lol

  • I think it sounds very good! You have to re-do it with regular components because you can play it!

    I did a fretless bass but i'm learning just now to play and maybe i will redo it better.

    Mine is 34" too with 6 roundwood strings. You can see it on my channel if you want.
