springfield trimmed its trees back after this.....why didnt they do it BEFOREHAND!!!!!! it felt like we should just stick lines underground but no too expsive. cu bitchs no matter what suggestion is given to them

It worse in Bolivar where i live. It was like a war zone... cuz u know that scene in Mulan when they go to the city and it's like all burned down n everything well that's what bolivar looked like except with ice.

Wow, I remember that, except when I think of it it's all grey-ed over like the part at 49 seconds. I'm at school in Iowa and all I hear is how bad the floods were, the ice was worse (I think).

even the ground was frozen.

that was a bad ice storm. we took the temperature of our basement and it was about 13 below zero. we had a gas fireplace upstairs that kept us warm though thankfully b/c we didn't have power for a week.

i riped a hole in my shoe when i walked on that ice, that was bad then..man, now we have all this record rain, lets just be glad THAT didnt freez over...uhh, the thought of that is just bad enough

We live on lombard and scenic, geeze... that was such an awful storm and I had to stay in the city without power because of work. haha.. good times...

Don't you hate the the quality of the video after uploading it to youtube is not as good as the footage you took of this stuff???? I have a few of the ice storm here in Marshfield, MO, and there is NO WAY for other people to see just how BAD it was here!! All of the ice just blurs...... but, wow, how amazing it was! I drove around Springfield and, MAN, was it bad there! Trees down all over the city!
