Ambergris at Dreamland Theater, Ypsilanti

On one incredible night the crickets were silenced, the furniture aligned, every traffic light turned green at one time, and Justin Clifford Rhody made it all happen in Ypsilanti, through his relentless advertising campaign and his top-notch organizational abilities....Behold! Anti Matter arrangements of words, bequeathed unto you from inside a terrrifying "grat Pumpkin" mask of TUXEDO LAUGHING GAS, a.k.a. IMA PELICAN, the singer for the band AMBERGRIS....enjoy and cry that you were not there....Also on the bill...POETRY PROBLEMS EXPRESS. CAVE BEARS. GAY SHAPES. A SHADOW PUPPET SHOW. STRANGE BREW. and a screening of the Memorial day weekend 2001 video. It was amazing guys. Has this video finished uploading yet? No. Well, then I'm gonna keep typing. Afterwards we went and got beer at the "Party Store" and the man behind the counter was screaming at a customer to get out. It was a horrible scene, though it could have become much, much worse. But it couldn't quash the special flavor of this night! Unfortunately my camera ran out of batteries and I was not able to tape Poetry Problems Express, my favorite band I saw on the Ambergris/Cave Bears tour of America 2011.
