  • yeah im doin the hho thing- yesterday i heard something about hydrogen embrittlement-not sure how much it applies to running a car on it-meyers must have had a way around it tho if it is making the cylinder head brittle-see ChrisPcrunchy

  • Are you trying to run a car on hydrogen.

  • How many weeks are typical to get them charged well?

  • I agree with both of the above comments. I also am in the same interest of running a car on hydrogen. I'm certan it can be done! :) The first problem that needs to be overcome is creating enough hydrogen on demand to feed the engine. This can be done with huge amounts of current through large electrolysis units but in this case where on earth could all that power be coming from onboard the vehicle.. not battries thats for sure! I'll be posting some videos soon. Good luck to all!

  • it doesnt equate equally because of the vacuum side of the reaction

  • I bet any of the negative effects in burning hydrogen in an ICE would be mitigated if you were able to retard the ignition point closer to, or exactly at TopDeadCentre. Car engines right now are programmed to ignite before TDC, in order to maximize the slow developing explosion of gasoline. Does anyone know the the power of each explosion (gas/hydrogen)? Would that ratio be translated equally to the amount of gas needed to reproduce the other's explosion?

  • i would be happy with a lawnmower for starters =]...did u see my vid of the meyers buggy?
