  • Been to this temple many times. It's so beautiful and peaceful.

  • Beautiful temple!

  • love the sounds, love the monks!

  • @xTrappedUnderIcex This is not true and I have spent a LOT of time in Thailand. Temples are located everywhere and they do have electric and even in rural areas, there are places to park.

  • how do they do alms rounds in florida?

  • Mostly and im a fully ordained monk,You fully ordain after you studied and had a very long training.I had a training since i was a little boy before i became a fully ordained monk

  • can i be ordained at that temple? i asked about it at a Wat in north florida and they tried to set me up to be a forest monk in thailand but woulnd not ordain me there. they acted like they had no idea what i was saying

  • i thought temples were supposed to be in rural areas, why is it in a parking lot with electricity

  • It is said when the student is ready ...the teacher will appear. The Buddha would give dhamma teachings based on the type of audience listening .For example if teaching was to monks it would be in terms and meaning they could understand. If teaching was to lay people he would give talk to them based on level they could relate to.The same holds true today..The Dhamma is just as fresh and relevant as when first given over 2500 yrs ago.
